Couldn't let 2009 slip by without at least a quick word. I'm knew to this so please bear with me a while.
It's raining and that's good news. We've had almost 100mm in the past three days and while that might be boring to the average blogger out there, its a Godsend to those of us who have been experiencing near-drought conditions since the turn of the century.
On the other hand those Pale-headed Rosella still refuse to adopt the nestbox Fay and I erected for their benefit. The pair have investigated it closely since before October; indeed, the female even entered and stayed inside for an hour or more but in the end they have abandoned us.
Or... is that the Pale-headeds I hear at the nestbox?
